REVIEW – I’ve reviewed quite a few Olight flashlights over the years and I’m a fan of their products. This is the first flashlight of theirs that I’ve reviewed that can be used hands-free. It's the Olight Swivel COB Work Light and it could become a favorite of mine. Let's find out.

The Olight Swivel COB Work Light is a flashlight/work light that has a 50-200 lumen spotlight flashlight on the "head" and a 400 lumen floodlight on the front.

The Olight Swivel COB Work Light is available in dark green/black like you see here and also in orange/black. The case is a hard plastic that feels suitably rugged for everyday use.

There is a large floodlight on top that uses a COB emitter. It has 3 light modes that include High (400 lumens / 5hrs), Medium (160 lumens / 9hrs), and Low (12 lumens / 90hrs).

Around the floodlight is a frame that glows in the dark after it's been "primed" by the floodlight. This is a useful feature that can help you find the light in the dark – if it's still glowing.

On the front is a flashlight that offers 2 light modes that include High (200 lumens / 5hrs) and Low (50 lumens / 27hrs).

The Olight Swivel is controlled with one button on the side. Pressing the button once will turn the light on in whatever mode it was in the last time it was used. If the floodlight was used before, that's what will turn on. If it was the flashlight that was used, that will be the one to turn on (it doesn't save the brightness level though). If you press the power button again within 3 seconds you can toggle between the brightness levels and if you press and hold the power button, it will let you switch modes from the floodlight to the flashlight. I did find the button to be stiff and slightly hard to press quickly.

On the opposite side of the Swivel COB work light, is the USB-C charging port, and next to it is a row of 4 LEDs that show the battery level.

The bottom of the light has a rotating bracket that has 3 built-in magnets.

In the image above, I have the flashlight stuck to my homemade steel bulletin board. As you can imagine, you can stick the light on the hood of your car if you’re working on it in the dark, or any other steel surface.

The bracket/stand unfolds and can rotate 180 degrees.

As the bracket rotates, it clicks in place to keep the angle secure.

There's also a built-in springloaded hook/carabiner style clip that you can use to hang the Olight Swivel on your backpack, belt loop, branch, etc.

The Olight Swivel COB Work Light is a well-made, inexpensive lighting tool that can be useful for DIYers, campers, and more.
